The Official Craigslist Thread

meeeee......wife's getting annoyed by the fact that there are more Subaru's in the yard than there are people living in our house,I have the least sentimental attachment to this one,so,yeah....

I can't believe this thing is still for sale. This belongs to someone on USMB. It's such a sweet car.

the ea used to bust them up like my GL..

WTF would someone who knew the chassis buy that..for that price?

I found a 2 door a few years ago, I am glad I stuck to the wagon chassis.

the ampitheatre hatch, strange glass heavier than the whole back end swaying it like a crowd pleaser...hardly a realist.

have fun.

The chassis is literally exactly the same as a wagon underneath, just different on top. And this does not have the shitty EA82 under the hood, it has a JDM EJ20, with matching tranny, and rear LSD diff. Along with a full 5 lug swap. And the body is nothing like you started with, it is very solid and rust free. All these things together make it worth a bit more than a rusty old GL wagon in Maine

And your reason??? These cars are good DD's anyway, and it's been brought up to date with new drivetrain and suspension.
I don't know about him, but my thinking is that its just someone else's project car. There's no way to know for sure what shortcuts were made in the swap, what could go wrong, etc.

Considering that car was built several years ago, I would have no fear as far as that goes. And if you were a member on USMB, you may know a little more history on the car. It's a good car, and was built very well, and isn't beat on, or over modified.

this is a regular old subaru..(there is no such thing)

what caught my eye was the dl solid bench seat (the back end is tougher than a sedan)

this sane design is the only subaru I had to pop a belly.. the back end was tougher than the front as a wagon. the only real difference I remember is thick wheel wells and the solid one piece steel backed seat.

a heads up about "craigslook", this car does not show up in it..this means you are better off picking a state and searching each one yourself.
