Nice TCR. I'll bet it weighs 16-17lbs? I remember when anything under 20lbs was insanely light. Do you work at a shop? I'm working at Rainbow bikes in Auburn now but I was at Sebago Outfitters until they closed recently. If you need singlespeed info I've been riding singlespeeds for years. What you should try is a fixed gear bike built up from an old road bike (dump bikes are great for this). I spent $6.99 on mine

I've been thinking about going fixed gear on the other road frame I have... but it's carbon so I don't think that's the best match for fixed gear riding. I can hear teh carbon snapping now as I lock up to skid... oopsie!

Haven't weighed the TCR yet but I suspect that it's sick light. my MTB was disgustingly light when I went singlespeed. It's amazing how much noticeable weight is added with the cassette, deraileurs, shifters. I think my mtb was sub 20.
