Turbo Issue?

yeah, he estimated it to be 2 hours and he charges 40 bucks an hour. I didn't get another vf40, instead got an evo316 from bnr supercars, I'm hoping there's not too big of a difference...

definitely going to need a tune....

alright so ive just notice yesterday that my car is overboostin..anyone have any idea what might be the cause boost controller?Wastegate? my car doesn't have a tune i just put in a stock td04 about a few weeks ago with around 40,000 miles or so on it. Its been running nice ever since i put the turbo in and yesterday i was noticing my car was picking up a lot quicker then i took a look at my boost gauge and noticed it hit 20 psi ever since that ive been driving it like a grandma if anyone has an input it would be greatly appreciated

when you put the tee back on the nipples to the wastegate and turbo, did you make sure the vacuum lines were connected to the correct nipples?

yeah im pretty sure i put them back in the right place. Wouldn't that have happened after i installed the turbo not a couple weeks later? my car was running at normal boost 14 psi after i installed the turbo i could check the hoses again

yes you are right. is it possible that the hose could have just come off the nipple? because if there is no pressure from the turbo side pushing onto that wastegate, you'll see boost climb because the wastegate will stay closed and the turbo will keep spooling.

just make sure all those lines are snug and clamped and also no cracks or breaks(the ones going to the bcs that is.
