Open your hood and look at the underside. The splitter is the piece that's mounted under the hood scoop and stock for the WRX it's just a giant hole with a rubber "gasket". The STI version is larger to match the ic and has a divider panel in the center to direct air to the entire intercooler.
Splitter would be the metal piece and bellow would be the rubber piece, these probably aren't the correct part names according to Subaru, they always have obscure descriptions/names. If you got them new I think you need to get them separately. There's also a handful of clips that hold the rubber in place.
