I don't see the point to it anymore with the monster video cards that are coming out these days. Two vid cards each with a gig of memory bolted together... how much boost U think those could stand?
Basically, by the time you need/want to add a second card for SLI, the brand new cards are as good as your card plus another in SLI for the same price.
