oh well, an overpriced Mobil 1 filter is on the Miotter. The Miata net guys found a filter that fits, but is quite a bit larger.. I have that one. it is a pain to get in there.

AutoMoan doesn't carry the PureOne AFAIK... but they have the Bosch filters. That's what's on the WRX now and will probably go on again because I wanna use my AutoMoan rewards card! WOOT!

 
Just so you all know, all 4cyl scoobs, with the exception of Loyales, take the same oil filter. The turbo one.

And factory filters are made by Puralator. Just to better spec's than the ones sold by the cheap parts stores ;D

 
^^ is that new info because my 03 Forester 4-cyl takes a different filter than my 04 WRX 4-cyl. They were the same part number till they made the turbo one smaller. I bought a whole case of filters for the Forester and was pleased to see that the WRX took the same filter... then SOA changed their tune.

 
i bought a Bosch filter at AutoMoan. It was small.

Sorry, maybe it was a 93... I was just interested in getting my filter and leaving vs. hearing about how the other worker there wanted to do a Saab turbo swap on her Saturn.

 
that's an ass load of work but totally do able. it's the same chassis base depending on which model saturn.

p.s. i always feel like i get dumber though osmosis when i go into walmart
