What are you going to do now that gas prices have jumped over $1.50/gal in the last 3 weeks?

Mike you are beginning to hyper-mile. I'm always coasting, down hills, up some hills, on the way to stop signs and stop lights. I almost always leave plenty of room in front of me so when others begin to brake I can coast without touching the brakes for a bit and possibly not lose a lot of momentum when they get off the brakes and get into the gas again.
I try to do this as much as possible!!

that's what I like about the new foresters. bigger, better handling, better mpgs.
Now imagine if they made a nice light car again, like the GC impreza. And used that engine. You'd have not gigantic and huge, awesome handling, better MPG and a lot more power.

Wow! I always got 24 with my RS. I drove like a toon with it mostly. Hard to behave with those.
fillup this mornin, 385 miles on 13.1 gal....29.3, yesss!

efficient drivin mostly, with a bit o toonage tossed on (trip to Team O'Neil on twisty 2-lanes and a lil toon/hoonage at the skool too)

I'm doing good to break 26 in my 27 mile commute from norway to auburn... but a heavy right foot is to blame, I did get 31 on the pike this weekend with a trunk full of fresh cut maple

Ride my bike more, gets 50+ mpg depending on wrist twist.

I want to move back to Norway... I lived in a big town, yet a small community. Everything close together. Even living in the outskirts I could ride less than 5 miles and go anywhere in town and visit any of my friends. In the winter I'd take a sled, in summer I'd ride my bicycle. Free healthy transportation. It was awesome.

Here... It's miles and miles and miles just to start to get anywhere. I live in the effing boonies.

^its nice, dad and inlaws are just a few miles away. Got some sketchy ppl in the apt down the street tho.......*looks for shotgun*

Well guys, at least your not the army, with 8000 Abrams M1A1 and M1A2 tanks that get each get about 2GPM... that's right, I said GPM, not MPG. Apparently an M1A1 needs about 300 gallons every 8 hours or so for its turbine engine. Or better yet, you could be a drag racer! What other vehicle could use 12 gallons of fuel in 1/4 mile!

If I was in the army YOU would be paying for my tank's gas.

And If I was driving a drag car my sponsors would pay my gas bill....

I'm paying for it anyway might as well light off a couple 30mm rounds while we are at it.
