what can all you tell me about 02-03 OBS?

i believe the 2.5 HG issue is up till 01, so the TS should be fine for the normal absurd subaru mileage, but i could be wrong if someone wants to chime in. the issue was in the HG material

 
Yup, they all do it. They have tried to "address" the issue many times, without any good results. But if you re-do your headgaskets, make sure you use the Subaru metal gaskets, DO NOT use aftermarket!!! If you use these, and pay attention to the somewhat complicated torque sequence they won't leak again!!

 
i couldn't imagine a recall for the hg....its like 10.2 hrs of labor for both sides or so....not including parts and how many thousands of cars are out there.......

 
There were factory service bulletins for them. And I dunno about 10.2 hours. I have never seen them take that long!!
