If you are using Firefox 3.5+ or Safari you will be able to see the site perfectly. Still a few layout bugs im working on.

IE should just...... die. It's so crappy, I can't believe I used it for as long as I did. Once I started using FireFox I was like OMG&%^#&*

Have been home sick for more than a week, yuck!

The change to MS site has just NOT worked for me. I have AOL at home on dial-up, the changes have totally shut me out. Can't find stuff, cant' see when posts were made, can't even post at all. I tellya, being home sick was bad enough, being shut out of MS...well, it almost killed me.

here at work on Firefox 3.5, seems fine. no doubt you have made some 'adjustments'

What version of aol are you using?

Old. I just get bummed at being left behind by 'improvements' in favorite forum sites.

Special Stage and NASIOC have been basically the same for years, I frequent them not for how they look or how many embedded vids or other groovy features they have, but for the info exchange they offer...and also for their simplicity.

You can scan your fave forums there quickly, find out who posted and when...this seems much harder now on MS.

for instance, why does the MS forum page now bring you to "last post first" ?? If you've missed even 5 minutes (I know, an eternity around here

(o fark, now I find the smileys don't work) you have to page and page to find out what's happened. Used to be you hit "read latest unread post" and presto, you could catch up with what's going on.

But then hey I am just a dinosaur.

PS--have noticed that when I hit the "submit reply" button on various pages, I get different responses. sometimes I get the "quick post" form, others it's more normal appaearing. still the smileys show as letters (not the smileys themselves) and often the reply form is somehow laid over the original post. other times the type runs together, and lines cut each other off.

I'm not sure about the smiley issues, but the post thing is normal (new, but normal). If you want to quote multiple posts, hit the

button. It will add that post to the "posts to quote" list. Then, at the bottom of the page, hit the "reply to thread" button. It will put the posts you selected into the quick post box. Then, just press the "Go Advanced" button in the lower right to go back to the "normal" post screen.
For just quoting a single post, just use the "reply with quote" button. It will put a quick reply box after that post, which gets confusing if that post isn't the latest in the thread.

Gee I only scored 13 out of 100
What browser?

Only IE or Opera will score that low. Chrome will get 100/100 Firefox is in the 90's/100 range as is Safari

Chrommeeeeee. 100/100
By the way, at work we use...drumroll please...........IE6
ouch.

Tell your tech people that it is a security risk to be running that over firefox.

Sounds like a rigged test.
I believe it just tests for standard web stuff and how fast the browser loads it. Otherwise, its rigged because the browser companies design the browser to be better at the acid test.
