What work would you do?

If you could pick a different career what would it be? Would you concentrate on money as much, less or more? Would you try to do something you like or something you're good at? Would you do more college or skip college this time?

Weatherman. Seriously.

But not the kind you see on channel 5 at 6 and 11 in front of the big screen. I want to be the guy you see on the Weather Channel sitting in the middle of a hurricane in Florida going "Holy raisin, a car just flew by my head!!"

that probably wouldn't be good for your heart.

for me: WRC service crew, or Kblock's service crew.

boutique computer company.....Jeff and some others can probably relate...

build sweet overclocked machines on someone elses dime...

I've actually been asking myself this question for the past few months. I wouldn't be a Telecom Engineer or in IT.

I'd really like to become a bicycle framebuilder as the main occupation and make other metal items, chairs, art, etc on the side.

Work for a automaker test driving cars. Make sure they work. Not being a critic, just driving, and other doing all the technical data raisin...

Actually, it probably would. My problem is my heart rate doesn't stay up, remember? This kind of career would probably take care of that.

codrive for a professional rally team

work for a wonderful magazine about Maine

but wait, there's more to aspire to...

would like to have more shop space to build cool subarus--and good customers to do it for

would like more time to seek secret stashes of Utah pow-pow

ditto Quebec pow-pow, heck ditto Maine pow pow

driving lots of those crazy all night Canadian TSD rallies

bombing around in my boat

hugging the g/f and walking the spaniel

im with mikebike i have been giving this a lot of thought lately and honestly haven't come up with anything. if money were no problem i'd work as a mech on a race team that's my dream job. or a touring band.

^^why not combine the two?

Alright, changed my mind already. HS Art teacher. What classes or degree do I need to get to become an Art teacher?

Hey MB- do you know this guy? http://www.hottubes.com/ShopWebSite/Frame_Building_Class.html Toby used to build bikes for the Hoyts, and runs a development team. He also has a sideline in building and painting frames. You can take a class on building with him for a mere $2500....
