Whatcha Gona do:

Ill be working sunday so I hope my work losses power so I can go home early with pay!

My garage will probably flood. And there's nothing to do about it. It needs a wall torn out and rebuilt because it leaks. So I just need to make sure tools and stuff are off the floor.

And make sure my legacy is inside because when it rains really hard the hvac system fills with water, then dumps out and makes a lake on the floor....

I've been out every night this week with my Husqvarna going after every dead or leaning tree near my house and barn. I've dropped about 12 so far. I have a gallon of 50:1 mix fuel, topped out the Subaru Generator and the Kubota is topped off as well.

I remember Hurricane "Hugo" and "Bob" like it was yesterday. I wonder if this one will be one the people remember.

well let me know. I am game for playing with tractors and winches to set this beast up.
I've been using the winch for control drops.

I guess I prepped this morning.. I reprogrammed my radio to have all of the local repeaters out to western NH and north as far as brunswick.

and PD/EMS for about 30mi radius of my house.

Apw got all the ton trucks loaded with signs barricades and sandbags Today, and I'm near the top of the call in list. They're about as ready as can be, and I'm just missing the chainsaw and 12ga (at my dads)

here's my forcast.

Tonight: A bit of rain, some fog. Not much wind.

Sunday: More rain. Maybe light thunderstorms. Slightly high, but non-damaging winds. Lots of hype. More hype. And a lot more hype.

Sunday night: Really a lot of hype. A whole shitload of it. Heavy rain. Wind. Park your car inside. Drink beer.

I'm parking the forester under a scary looking tree hoping it'll fall on it so I won't have to put headgaskets in it

Gutters are up, yard is clean and mowed. the beer is 55* and the wife is picking up some storm snacks.

All depends on where you are, the wind is coming out of a weird direction, so it looks calm in places. There are trees and lines down everywhere, I will be out at 5am cleaning it up, and removing trees from power lines!! Hopefully will get the call sooner!

I lost a bunch of apples and tipped over a tomato plant. it will be years before we recover from this devastating storm.
