....are you folks having luck with?

i have run stock wrx suspension, which was just too tall.

cobb springs on wrx struts, which looked awesome, but the ride was

now i am running sti pink springs on totally SHOT 04 sti struts. . ..

the springs feel ok, but its saggy assed, and just not what im looking for as far as ride quality goes.

I'm picking up some tokico's, and am just not sure what i want to do for a spring setup. i'm looking for a lowered stance, that cuts wheel gap, performs well, yet is COMFORTABLE to ride on.

so, What springs are you, loyal anons, having luck with? i dont care if you're in a fozzy, or an sti, i'm just looking for brand feedback, and how satisfied you are with your selection, so as to aid me in my choice. oh yea. . .. and side view pics if you feel like throwin them in

I run the swift sports springs. A great drop for me, way better handling but a better ride then stock..I swear. It's a bit weird with the progressive spring design. But I love them.

Swift spec: 4F901 MY04-07 WRX Sedan (GDC,GDD)

Drop - F:-32mm, R:-25mm

Rate - F:3.4kg/mm, R:2.7kg/mm

running swifts on my 08 WRX too...

love them.

nice drop, but didn't sacrifice ride.

 
I'll probably get flamed but I am running '04 Sti springs with the GR-2's. I did have to do the butt spacers in the rear but that put the height right were I like it. Getting the shock assembly out is much easier now because the Sti's are 1-1/4" - 1-1/2" shorter, I don't even need a spring compressor. The ride is a nice mit firmer too.

I was looking at the tokico's as well but because of availability and wagon specific I went with the KYB's. Hope you find something you like.

 
i run ferrari's old crucial racings, i like them. good drop, better handling, but no real buzzkill on comfort. i know a lot of people like RCE yellows/blacks. yellows being the more aggressive drop, blacks being the more stock like comfort.

Handling much much better, great ride on nice roads, hits the small bumps across the road harder than stock but w/e, bigger bumps a lot harder than stock but still don't care, drop=very nice. . .

 
sounds like a lot of you are having good luck with swift. .. . i hate to ditch my spt pink springs, but they just dont sit right, nor do i like the ride that much. ..

 
Justin, you can get them there, or through EG who gets them from TIC. I actually got mine from nasioc.

 
well i just pulled the trigger on mah new struts. . . .. guess im gonna have to make a decision here on the springs in the next week or so. anyone else got any side shots they wanna contribute?
