wrx worst car to insure

i pay about 239/month for full coverage being my own insurance for the first time and being 20 but my previous records were 2 speeding tickets over 20 miles per hour, a written warning for speeding, and a high speed accident i thought it was gonna be worst that's why i didnt buy an sti but im happy lol
dear god 239 a month for a 2002??? i would drive a moped if that was the case that's a rip off. what did you do a hit and run on a nun??

I was paying 205 a month on my 97 Impreza L when I was younger. It sucks being a teenage male!!

yeah it kind of sucks but i guess that's the price i gotta pay for being 20 and owning a wrx lol but all of that was all within a year so i guess it is what it is

I pay 96 a month but that's gonna change I was on my friends usaa ins which is hella cheap. I have to get my own ins come oct who should I go with. I'm 26 male nothing on my record in last 3yrs

do yourself a favor. if you rent and dotn own get renters insurance through the same company u get car insurance. first of all renters insurance is cheap as hell and it will give you a discount on the car insurance. for every person a different compnay will be best for me its met life but that's because my wife gets a work discount and we have 2 cars home and umbrella insurance. just have to make some calls for quotes

i'm sure the statistics are true, but think about why.

yes, a lot of younger newer drivers, and even older drivers new to performance cars buy cheap wrx's and crack them up. yes.

BUT, the statistic is a total of all cars, and there are a lot of wrx's on the street in comparison to other newer performance cars.

even if 90% of all (lets say) chrysler crossfires (a low sales car) were wrecked the total number of cars the insurance companies needed to cover would still be lower than the say 20% crashed wrx's. same goes for the other end of the stat. ever been hit by a ferrari? maybe because there aren't many out there. i've probably only seen 3 ferraris on maine streets this year and i've seen more wrx's than that this week.

yes, wrx's probably are worse than most due to the drivers, but the high sales volume is a large unmentioned factor.

This is something I thought of when I first read the article, but I dismissed it because I figured I was wrong or something. It's measured in total repairs cost right? That would back up Evan's point.

My STi, with $15,000 extra coverage for "modifications", and the 2009 Accord are about $1400 a year, if I recall.

My homeowners and all that crap is combined-it gets blurry

For a lttle under $1200. a year, I fully insure an 04 forester xt, an 01 dakota 4x4, & a 2000 vette. Of the 3, I think the xt is the most expensive to insure.
