07 2.5i-wagon

Stock axleback back on (only has 500 miles on it) the perforated tube on my stainless dynomax rotted out just like my last mild steel one. No ideas what I'll do next

More like dual cherry bombs right off the headers. In all honesty I may just do a cherry bomb glass pack, cheap and easy, if not I'll try to hunt down a prodrive

Not doing anything until I figure out the sounds my engine is making. Might just be normal noise resonating off the skid plate, or valves need adjusting. Not sure yet, oil change this weekend to see what the magnetic drain plug has to say

Figured out a squeaking I had, need pads and rotors all around. Pretty sure valves need adjusting and sleight manifold leak. Oh and both oil pressure sensors for the valve timing. Good thing I paid it off last month, all that money is going to turn in to repairs

I know that feeling.  Legacy paid off now I gots to do the headgaskets, trailing arm bushings, and fix the f-ups the bodyshop did.  Next car is going to be a Honda.

Had a cherry bomb glasspack given to me, that'll be going on this weekend along with doing an oil change and finding leaks/rattles. Probably going to get centric premium rotors and stoptech street pads from that website g posted in the rotor thread

Ran in to some wicked cluster fudge earlier. I'd bought one of the meguiars drill buff headlight restoration kits. Did the drivers headlight, was very pleased with the results and decided to clear coat it with what I had left after doing the fogs. Something wasn't right, I think it was the heat, but the clear dried as it hit lens and I had to wet sand it all off, starting with 320 and working up to 2k grit, then buffing again. I still didn't get all the scratches out, but it's clear again

Cherry bomb axleback all welded up, scuffed it down and flat blacked everything but the stainless tip, which has been reused for my last 5 setups. Test fit sounded pretty gnarly, will know more later. Still waiting for someone to reply about adjusting my valves

I thought about the orange, I already have some rustoleum "cherry" that's super bright red I'll use on my recovery points, but idk. One of the super florescent colors would be cool if I can find the paint
I did my dedicated snows (legacy snowflakes) in a bright red/orange-ish color and cleared it a few times. I say do a neon/florescent yellow to try and match the fog lights.

I've seen 2 types, one with a perforated tube and one with the cups, I think the perf tube ones sound better, but this one was free. I'd like to come up with money for a stainless catback but they cost way to much

Mine was used as a resonator though and I had a flowmaster as a muffler. That was a good sound with the borla header. Got pulled over all the time.

Probably one of the best sounding EJ25's I've heard, SOHC or not...

I loved how mine sounded with the custom UEL header and dynomax. I might just get a magnaflow or borla muffler since they are all stainless. This cherry bomb sounds mean on the low end, but it's just mental if I romp on it
