Poor legacy...

I had a similar issue on my first turbo Legacy. It turned out to be a faulty connector to the fuel pump which is under rear seat on the right side. There was a poor connection so it was an intermittent problem, easy fix. Hopefully its the same deal with yours, electrical gremlins suck.

Yeah it still won't start. When it sits for a long time, and I go to start it, it almost turns over, but then just reverts to cranking again. I was hoping it was the fuel pump, but I guess it wasn't. Also, when I spray starter fuel in it, it starts right up, then dies. I wish you lived closer Mike, I hate having to trailer the wagon around. She might be coming to see you soon if I can't figure this out. The fuel pump electrical stuff looked fine, but I have no way of knowing if it actually is.

have someone listen to the pump when you turn the key on and when your cranking it over. if the pump is running normally then either the injectors aren't pulsing, or theres a blockage in the fuel system. (or the tanks empty

check fuel pump relay, it should be up under dash to left of steering wheel. sometimes you can hear it click when you turn key to ON position w/o cranking motor, otherwise you can feel relay and do same. no clicky = no starty

Alright, I'll try that next weekend when I back home. I think it's time to upgrade the injectors anyways.

Welp, after I ordered them, they were taking forever to ship. So long in fact, that I cancelled and pick up these babies!

No, not yet

. Haven't got a clue what's it doing. It started after it sat for a few weeks. If I try to start it after it's been sitting for awhile it will almost start, then it just goes back to cranking. I'm sure it's some stupid little thing.

That will probably be the next step. I might wait until it's upgrade time to get it fixed. I miss her though, the obs has no power.
