they came in legacy's and Impreza 2.5 and foresters from a certain year. and if you can find a phase 1 dohc from the 2.5 motor you wouldn't have to tap a hole for the starter if i remember correctly, like you would with a phase 2 head from a wrx or sti. and i kinda have a build like your talking about going on its just going slow due to funds but it will be fun once its completed

 
anyone know of someone local that does head work? pnp would be nice. if i used NA heads what intake mani would i use?

 
that's cool rally, build a thread or shoot me what you're working with. it'd be nice to see how that's going
