2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Sedan

I really hope then 2011 WRX is good, I might be owning one in 15 years when I can afford it

Ha, I've come to terms with the fact that I'll never own one! With my growing family, looks like I'll be joining the outback crowd in a few years...God knows what they'll look like then.

You've an '07.. I'm still living in the mid 90's with my car.

The family is why I got a Forester, and I can still have loads of fun with it!!

Longevity, its what makes a subaru a subaru:D

I like my car because parts are reasonably priced, I can do most of my own work. Or with help of people on here (thanks Sergei and Jason!!). It even gets good gas mileage and is fun to drive.

But I wouldn't mind owning a WRX someday...

I hear ya on this one. All of the 2001 and older Subys are so easy to work on, with plenty of room. Then in 02 they crammed everything in and things became harder to work on.

I would like some turbo action too. One of the main reasons I bought my car is because there are so many of them on the road still, your ride is a testament to that. Lots of respect!

When I pay off the Accord (STi is pd. off) I plan to buy a Toyota p'up truck, or maybe a slightly-used '08/'09 WRX/STi

Maybe, I'm a-glutton for punishment.

I know someone who is putting their STi on blocks during the winter months, I would call that slightly used. Maybe you can buy that one:rolleyes:

sorry, i dont like the pics in the op. they look badly shooped f&f pics. i dont believe for a second they will put that park bench spoiler on it.

I don't think they will either... besides, it's just a concept.

I hope they come out with something that will seriously make us drool.

i.e. not an 08/09 knockoff?

not that they're bad looking, but in order for me to drool, I want something new.

Honestly, I think that when a new body model comes out, the designers are going to go in the direction of the new...and I'm sorry, Mazda 3. Lots of lines and curves seems to be the trend in small cars on the sporty end of the spectrum. I am a fan of how the new mazdas look, but I'm a sucker for a hatchback. After the initial reviews and response of the current model, I have a feeling that something more dramatic and beefy will be what we'll be looking at before long.

As long as the legacies keep the lines of the side windows...

I think that the Impreza could go just about anywhere with the next body design. There was a pretty huge jump between the GC and GD body styles.
