Because Ricecar Thread

I believe I saw that car for sale atleast 4 years ago. Back then it wouldn't do more then 120 mph because it was still limited or something. Complete RICE.

It was limited because its a civic lol. Besides why do you need to actually go that fast when you have flames on the side of the car to make it seem like you are going that fast?

ive seen this civic that around rockland that has this giant plastic cowl induction fake thing on the hood and a giant stupid spoiler and the worst thing is he waves to me and gave me a thumbs up. and I just ignore him.

I have to pipe in and say I have a spot in my heart for tastefully done j-bodies (Cavaliers, Sunfires, etc). I had one back when I was about 22/23. (Back in the days of the car-shows for me). It was mostly show, no go. It wasn't even a Z24... it was just the 2.2 liter. Anyways, here's a pic. I think I did it up nicely... what are your thoughts? Seriously...

And before my Subie, this was my Mazda3.

Mazda's great.

I don't like the front bumper, the side skirts, and the chicken mesh. The wheels aren't terrible, and I like the color.

Thanks for your honesty. I can take constructive criticism. That was my first "project" car. Since then, I've refined my tastes to reflect function, rather than style. I will throw in some style on the Subie, but I'm going to primarily focus on suspension upgrades.

That cavi dont look too bad, was done tasteful!! That Mazda looks nice, like the wheels. Most everyones done rice to their cars at one point.

Wheels on the Mazda were stock, I just painted them. Same as I've done with the Subaru. I always take the time to do them right so they aren't runny and look like crap!

I liked your mazda. I saw it quite frequently on the highway. the cavalier, not so much. But I never really got into the car show thing.

Thanks Pedro

Yeah the Cavalier was a "phase" of my life that progressed me into bigger and better things. I also made (and lost) some friendships because of the whole car show scene. I found out that some people can get WAY to into it, to the point that a friendship no longer matters. That changed my whole attitude towards everything. So now,I modify my vehicles to suit me and my lifestyle.

last night in auburn seen a silver neon with a huge fart can and a bunch of lights on the front bumper set up to look like a sube..lol

I saw some good ones recently, cant remember for the life of me though. it still cracks me up seeing an old stove up beat to hell honda on 14inch steelies with bald tires and burnign oil, with a fart can half assed on. it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside to not hear them over my system, and not have them see me laugh through my tinted windows
