might be worth taking a screwdriver and hammer around the axle nut

on the hex part of the nut, just around the center. Might help loosen up the rust behind it.

i beat the hell out of it. let the pb soak, used a drift and hammer on the nut faces. ....no love. even with the 5foot helper on the breaker bar. ...for real.
