yep just closed on my house last monday, and now im trying to figure out how to amend my tax's from last year so i can get the money for remodeling the house now. i let you know how that works out.

I recommend Rob as a realtor if you need one. He did an awesome job finding me a great house and getting me a sweet deal on it. Made the whole process completely painless. Plus i got to ride around in the Spec B!

I can't wait for the 8K, gonna try to sneak some mods in with the flooring I will get with it:p

 
Wish i could have taken advantage of this. I've been a homeowner for a couple years now and I've never really regretted it. In only twenty seven years it'll be all mine!

Buy now folks, this is a seriously good offer at times when interest rates are at their lowest. Things will only get worse after December of this year. It's a win-win.

Bump for $8,000. If you plan to buy a home this year and a 1st time home buyer you have less than 4 months left to close inorder to get the 8 grand !

 
LAST CALL: If you want to take advantage of the $8,000 the feds are giving to 1st time home buyers you need to be under contract on a home no latter than around the 10th of October to ensure closing by November 30th. Any questions pm me.

 
first let me say i completly agree that if you want a home ( and can afford it) get one now. with the 8k back it will make for a nice spring time. hell with obama in office i woudl do it before the goverment starts requiring the home be "energy efficent" before buying it with a fha loan and yes that has been brought up in congress.

this whole 8k back is bs for those of us who have actually bought homes before, payed like we were supposed to and sold them. once again the goverment is backwards in their thinking. god forbid you reward the responsible tax payers for once who have followed the rules. nope instead my tax money is paying for other people to buy a home. then all the people who are behind on mortgages and haven't payed because they bought a homethey couldn't afford get goverment assistance. ok sorry rant over

 
yah im super pissed myself.

i bought my house just as the market started to come down. so it was still high. i got no cash incentive, and got blessed with a higher interest rate. i love my house but im even stuck with possibly not being able to refinance because we are at the cusp of owing more then they will finance.

lol i guess i cant complain too much because our last home we bought in the midle of the home buying crazyness and actually got a no doc loan. that's right no documents needed to verify income you actually just told them what you made and they didnt check lmao. and they wonder why the housing market crashed
