No rules, dirt and as mentioned, logging trucks that will run you off into the West Branch of the Penobscot. I love it. Extra points for high speed moose evasion.

group drives tend to work better when they have a real destination, instead of just wandering around on back roads trying to restrain (retrain?) the hooligans.
group drive to an AX

to a RallyX

to a cool resort where you can hang in a nice cabin overnite (so spousal units might actually want to participate)

etc

the basic group drive as an excuse to misbehave in the company of other misbehavers...BTDT, it gets old pretty quick.

i agree with a real destination it would be great if we could go to a track or something so we can be misbehavers but in a safe legal way

cuz i am all for doing super fun really stupid things!........ but i really cant afford bail.
