HP Predictions on DYNO day? On the Vtec Yo STI

So dyno day is almost here! Its going to be the 6th of next month at Dent Sport Garage in norwood MA. Who would like to predict what im going to make for powa? :evil1:

This is what I have so far:

07 OBP STI

APS SR56 turbo

XS Power FMIC

UR Up-Pipe + Tial 38mm EWG combo

BPM Turbo Back 3"

SPT Intake

DW 750cc Injectors

Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

1 Step colder Plugs ( NGK )

Ebay Inlet

 
I say that you blow an FMIC hose on the way down and someone in your posse get's bagged for possession of illegal substances, and then you don't get there in time to do the Dyno.

I'd guess 398 whp. Price is right rules, closest without going over.

you are an ass... no one who was riding in my car had anything to do with the drugs... it was someone else who was along for the group drive.

I think you just wish your car was able to blow fmic pipes.

Nate youir car (on a normal reading dyno (or higher reading one like f1dyno's), will read in the 400-430whp area). Trevor is right this dyno reads low and mid 300's is what the graph will say. It's gonna be quick. expect about 100-150 more hp then now stock.

 
Running a stock ECU/timing and no alcohol, I'll hazard a guess of 316whp on 91oc, 334whp on 93oc.

(The facto tune is Very Conservative, at best-)

As to dynos reading "low" or "high", well, everybody wants them to err to +HP, & some dynos read "off" (like Mustang's dynos seem to read high) more frequently than others.

Imo it's a matter of the tuning shop keeping calibrated and their raisin straight, and accurately considering atmospheric data, as well.

Have a blast at the dyno, if FP would hurry up and get my f'ing turbo to me, I'll get 'er tuned and show up for one of these magic moments.

 
I thought mustang dynos read much lower than dynojets and others. im guessing about 375 hp for your set-up. I would definitly run Meth asap as it will help quite a bit and you can get more power safely. Cant wait to see it on the street.

 
I am already running an aggresive stg 2 map and the next thing on my list is meth. I had it on my last sti and I was trying to avoid it as helpfull as it is because it was more of a hassel last time around. It was a pain when I would run out of meth to keep buying it and mixing it up.

 
Instead of doing a mix use the universal Windshield washer fluid... Its much easier lots of people use it including myself. That way all you need to do is carry a extra jug of fluid with you.
