I would think it would be much safer and consistent to use your own methanol/water mix. But, it is a true statement that Bluwrx02 has said!yes the blue windshield washer fluid is made up of methanol my friend. Look it up on Nasioc.
 Those are the new bulbs I put in and they are supposed to be less blue then the last ones. :laughing4: Pat might be using my old ones in the G soon.Don't worry about your exhaust turning blue eitherI just saw you on May St. You are going to get arrested with those headlights man....
But when I'm on the autocross course I'm not going to notice if the light isn't on...that's why you set the meth kit up like i did in the beamer with a light to show it is working...you can also here the pump
Good stuff... I'm going to up my prediction to about 410 hpDue to popular demand a basic meth setup by coolingmist is on its way. :headbang:

Do we have results yet??Well that was a project and a half! Me and ferrari started saturday morning at about 10 and stopped at about 5 because we both had birthday parties to attend. Sunday we gained the help of my friend steve and pat and went back at it until about 10pm. I worked monday and when I got out we worked on it until 4am tuesday morning i got home at 5
Awesome news, big props for those guys helping you out and glad you made it down there :thumbsup:Sorry I got interupted so I didnt get to finish the last post. I got home at five left my house at 10 got to DSG at 12 and made 330hp at 21psi matt the tuner had to stop because we ran into a up pipe leak and it became impossible to tune further. :BangHead: Matt says it has a lot more room to go he wants to tune it to about 25psi and I should be making about 350-370hp on their dyno which is mid 400's on most dyno's. So im going to fix that leak and go back for a quick tune session in a weak or two. Even at 330hp the car is a absolute monster. All of this thanks to jim and pat. If I didnt have them to fabricate oil lines at 2 in the morning then this car would never have made it to DSG on time.
always get a chuckle out of how ppl can't just accept the dyno number for what it is...ONE indicator of how the car is doing. It's always something like < "whoa my car only made xxxhp on this crappy dyno, but that would be xxx+xxx on a better one..."...made 330hp at 21psi matt the tuner had to stop because we ran into a up pipe leak and it became impossible to tune further. :BangHead: Matt says it has a lot more room to go he wants to tune it to about 25psi and I should be making about 350-370hp on their dyno which is mid 400's on most dyno's.
I win the "guess the dyno pull" contest... off by 4whp ain't bad, considering I'm not a tech...Running a stock ECU/timing and no alcohol, I'll hazard a guess of 316whp on 91oc, 334whp on 93oc.
Yeah, I had a friend running stage 2 and water/meth and stock turbo/intercooler and he ran like 11.75 ish easily... so low to mid 11's shouldn't be a problem for you guys.I win the "guess the dyno pull" contest... off by 4whp ain't bad, considering I'm not a tech...Running a stock ECU/timing and no alcohol, I'll hazard a guess of 316whp on 91oc, 334whp on 93oc.
I'll be at Dent on Wednesday for a (flash) tune n' dyno, and I'm going to hazard I'll pull...hmmm...with 22-24# of boost on the FP Green, AP inlet, & with 70/30 meth (not washer fluid), the new Perrin rails, walboro, etc.
Let's say... +420whp.
I'll post a print out when it's all said and done.
Just about all the parts on the STi are brand-y new, so hopefully no equipment failure will hinder the process.
I saw slips from NED showing "stock" STi running late 12s, I'd think that mid-11s are easily possible, all things considered.
