OK so here's a true story of dim-bulb Evo owner

don't worry, story is on topic, it also involves global warming!

winter rallyx a couple years ago. owner of brand new Evo VIII shows up to play. except on the way into the rallyx site, he's playing Tommi and due to global warming (i.e., wet snow falling from sky and being goopy and slippy all over the road) he slides into a neighbor's new pickup and just goes along his merry way into the race site.

meanwhile the neighbor is ready to call in an air strike

this caused quite a bit of friction locally, almost got the site banned as a place to hold rallyxes. :rolleyes:x57 Evo dood fessed up eventually and the dinted ford got tooken care of.

 
well since it was a rallycross, all the Evo guy could hit during the race was cones and snobanks.

hitting the truck left the new Evo pretty bent (sprung front wheel/control arm) so he didn't exactly tear up the course. I think it was a real eye-opener for him...call it a Very Expensive Weekend of playing in the snow
