You had the rpms too high.  Drive at 70mph.  30mpg.

Driving how I usually do, I average around 29 highway. It's been running kinda funny... Maybe that ringland let go so I have an excuse to build early

im planning on putting fogs in the origional fog spot, but different aftermarket ones and driving lights in the upper grill next to the horns

I have had a few sets in front of the grille with no issues. And look at all the Forester guys who put them behind the grille in front of the radiator. A lot of the air flow comes from other places, and the lights won't restrict enough to cause any issues.

A 350 is plenty of power for a DD. Your 7.2 is a bit ridiculous to some.

My lights block half my upper opening and half the lower, and I have a winter front covering the whole upper. She stays cool
