I bought a cold air intake but think i m gonna sell it. Won't do nothing but sound cool anyways on the n/a

 
To get the sound on mine, I just did the snorkus delete.  Sounds pretty much like a cai would, but I don't have to worry about water getting into the filter that way.

 
No effect in power that I can see... if anything, possibly very low end torque... but not much.  I did not cover it with anything.... but I know that there are custom sized rubber plugs you can get for that whole in the fenderwell.

 
Will the pain in my mouth ever go away?

Subaru related note: Dad just has to fix one more hole in my car then it will get a sticker! Driving my moms 05 Outback today.

just did the same thing but with purolator gold filter, actually noticed a difference in how it ran and reacted to the go pedal
 
Today is the first day I've opened up the doors/windows at my house... it's actually pretty nice right now with the breeze that is coming through.  This coming week we're in for a bit nicer weather!  Great Subie driving weather!
