Trying for Oxford, I'd like to be closer to both our families, especially since her mother will be watching the baby
Now that you mention that, there is this weird piece (almost looks like felt) that protrudes from under the outer rubber seal. I'll take a pic later. Maybe I can fix that, or have Patriot take a look tomorrow. He said that if water is getting into the door its usually the seal on door on the outside of the window, so you might want to check that out before you get new speakers and have those ones get ruined too.
Ok, so here's my issue. There's this "felt/candlewick" piece that is protruding... so much so that it has actually left scratches in my glass. I think this is what is allowing the water to come into the inside of the door. You can actually see an out of focus smudge in the picture above the protrusion... that is scratches, and it goes all the way up the glass... mostly light scratches, but it's definitely scratched all the way up from rubbing against it.Now that you mention that, there is this weird piece (almost looks like felt) that protrudes from under the outer rubber seal. Thanks Matt. It's actually been like this since I bought the car a few years ago. Is this a replaceable part if it is broken?I think that's a guide for the window to follow. Occasionally the felt wears out and will scratch the window. Yours appears to have been dislodged or broken. You should take the door panel off and see what's going on.
Tell him if he doesn't text me back I'm going to come down there and kick his ass.Currently having my car worked on by Tyler at Patriot. Looks like I need a new alternator belt, rear brakes/rotors. I'll be taking care of the brakes/rotors myself. Oil change and sneaker rotation going on as well.
That`s not lady like !Tell him if he doesn't text me back I'm going to come down there and kick his ass.
