The blue/green one looks like a great deal though, as long as there isn't something secretly wrong with it.

Exhaust, intake, suspension.

I have an intake (sitting in my garage until after winter), I want an exhaust, and I added some extra grounding wires to help with the "ca-chug, ca-chug, ca-chug" when you're in too high a gear (but its a PITA to get into first, and I wasn't able to do it all today trying to roll stop signs...).

Suspension mods: front and rear, strut and sway bars are all on my wish list

So lobstah, would I be better off with just a new box filter rather than using that new-fangled chromy one?

 
nah, just get a K&N cone for it, and you'll be good with that chromy thing.

drop in filter is right around 50 maybe a little less, but you can get them used for less. I've had full intakes on my last two, they mostly sound cool, but they do help a little

 
That's not bad. they used to be more. If it was me, I would get the panel filter, some sort of cat-back, if not unequal length headers and cat back, and then suspension mods!!

yeah I know. I was telling some other subaru owners (online of course) how I was surprised that grounding wires helped as much as they did, and that I was experimenting by coasting at 10mph in first, and they said I was crazy, and I said "well usually I do 2nd, but I was trying to force more engine thumps" and they're like "oh yeah, not everybody has fancy double synchros like us 07+ peeps" and I was all like
