Its allllllll goooooooooodd.50 degrees on Jan 1st. Something just isn't right.
I was in 2 feet of water, I didn't go out far! I know all too well about the dangers. Only takes 2" of good black ice to hold a human. This ice didn't even crack. Just did a couple doughnuts and drove back off.Yikes... you took a chance out there with only 3-5 inches bro. That's the amount you like to see for supporting just a human... not including an ATV or snowmobile. Be careful!
^^^ This!Its allllllll goooooooooodd.Less $$$ I spend on heat = more $$$ I spend on good stuff like go-faster car bits .
Just got an oil bill today, I cried a little inside.Yes, each time I have to drop $350-$400 on tanks of propane, I cringe!

Do you let it age a season ?I love all the free firewood I have! It all came from work, and all I had to do was cut and split it.
Let it sit all summer. Pretty much as long as you have it all split before September, you're good to go. I have some that is still a bit wet, but most of it is all nice and dryAfter you go thru a heating season and know the approx number of gallons used you can sign next summer for a pre-buy at a better price and have uniform monthly payments..
