Well you have to put a fuse IN to be in FWD mode, so it is most likely something to do with the clutch packs in the center diff, or the solenoid that is in there.

check and see if the fuse is in just for shits....

I checked the fuse box under the hood, no fuse in the fwd slot. Saw something on legacygt.com bout a fuse for the awd in the dash fusebox, but I didnt see anything.

This is the first winter ive noticed it. I saw something bout the older legacys having a split, not sure of the 05s. Header is in the trunk still, haven't had money to get installed yet. Should be on by spring. Love tax season!!

No warrenty, its at 153000. I replaced clutchpack a couple years ago, id be surprised if it was that

no, didnt go check it yet. came home to frozen pipes today. Im hoping its not my iacv again, but have a feeling either a sparkplugs bad or maybe an o2 sensor.
