I went to advanced auto and got the cel checked, cylinder 4 misfire, either gotta replace sparkplugs, wires or coil!! Hoping for just the wires.

Cel consisted of some minor adjustments to the plug wires. running fine now. As for the awd, gotta replace the rearend

Honestly have no idea, its only gonna about $400 to $450 to replace it. Getting it done thursday

Replacing with another 05 factory one, this is cheaper than a solenoid or a clutchpack

Rear end? Who did you take it to that made that diagnosis? That's a very rare part to fail.

That and usually rear ends make really bad growling noises when they get bad, does yours? And it's also very common for a garage to mis-diagnose a bad rear end, for something actually wrong with the center diff.

Not turning what driveshaft right? There is the driveshaft that goes from the tranny to the rear diff, and that wouldn't effect anything, and then their are the cv axles that comes out of the rear diff, and power the rear wheels, but again, not sure exactly what that means. Seems odd to me. Just don't want you to get screwed. It would suck to dish out that money (which $400-$500 is crazy for an open R160 diff) and then have to have the center diff worked on too. I might be wrong, this is just my .02.
