Imagine the iPhone only completely open source, faster, and with a removable keyboard (unless that was just a rumor I heard).

Think of the crappiest car you can come up with. Man its been a pos for years and they just keep making it. Now there telling you they have this new version coming out and its going to be better then a buggati veyron.

that's about what we are dealing with. Im not saying its not possible but unlikely. The iphone can be made to handle open source with slight tweaking not that you need it. "Theres an app for that" The processor on the 3gs is that same as a palm pre 600mhz. Removable keyboard? Maybe they just need one good one?

i know what the pre consists of, let's not forget i spend 45 hours a week dealing with cell phones. people want to think that open source is the key to a perfect cell phone. why? the g1 was open source and honestly has dissappointed bigtime.

What would the best share plan prices for two of the iphones on a shared plan with low mins (we don't talk that much and never text) I work for FedEx and it's a 22% discount I think. Could one of you respond or PM any details. I have hod ATT for 11 years now. I like them until one of my phone ****s the bed and I go to get a new one and they say well you need to pay a service fee and upgrade fee, oh and you have to pay full price for the phone because your not a new customer. Tethering will be available sometime next month but I does cost more money.

The iphone is a great toy, but a FAR less than average quality phone.

I'm on my fourth one, a 3G, and they're returned on average, about every 5 months for exchanges.

The 4G networks are already being built, the 3GS is network obsolete before it's even released.
