New to me Leggy (Now with more Ti)

Another new fender?!Looks sick. I wish I had the skillz to rattle my own car and have it turn out not crappy. I may try it this summer anyway

. Seeing your brake products made me remember that I'm going to need new pads soon

Pads are wicked easy to do. PM me and I can send you the PDF on how to do it.

Sweet legacy!! One word pops into mind ... RALLY!! It looks like it wants some abuse.

Yea ANOTHER fender!! the two I had on there were falling apart they were in poor shape when I got them.... The new ones are in great shape though! and like 987687 said.... brake pads are damn easy.

Thanks, and oh yes it has seen its fair share of abuse!!!!! I can't rally it like I'd like to though.....I'm just a poor landscraper.

Looks like a fun offroad rig. With all of these offroading vehicles on the board we NEEEEED to have an offroad/dirty meet!

Indeed!! I need to fan-dangle myself a skid plate.
Some outbacks came stock with a skid plate, there's a chance one would bolt up. But someone who knows what they're talking about will probably chime in.

that would be amazing and simple!

Yeah I want a skid plate for my OBS too!! And yes, if you by chance find an outback or a Legacy Alpine that has a skid plate, it will bolt right up!!

Yeah the plastic ones only work for keeping dirt and water out, they don't work well for impacts at all!!

Plastic is junk.

I got one from him. 3/16 Fitment was good, just tweaked it a little with the BFH. Cut up an old shift stay bushing to use as washers to quiet it down. Spaced PROPERLY for the NA headers which was A+++ awesome. This guy is also a rally guy rather than some faceless corp so *thumbs up*.

so what your saying is that the stock outback/legacy alpine has a skidplate but they are plastic??????? if so I'm not even gonna bother looking for those.

I was reading over at

http://www.cars101.com/subaru_legacy_archive.html

it said that not only did the alpine sport have a skidplate but the ??Ti Outdoor wagon?? had one as well.

The '99 outback my family has we bought it CO. It came with the "rocky mountain" package and used to have a metal skid plate. For some reason it isn't on there anymore

I think I know the shop and the repair where it disappeared, but the metal ones do exist.
