Project OBS has begun!!!

I put the original bumper back on. I couldn't get the fancy v2 sti bumper.

1st mod.

Got a CEL for the front o2 sensor, then it went away. If it comes back its OUT-a-Der!

Anyone have an old fart pipe muffler and/or RS or OBS axle back they'd like to donate or sell cheaP?

 
If Imprezah doesn't want it, I have one from a wrx that I will let go real cheap, and from what I hear it will fit with minor modification

forgot to mention. 06-07 impreza speakers bolt right up in a 97 OBS. Only modification needed is cutting some tape away from the front speaker pig tails so it will reach the speaker, and rotate the new speaker backwards one hole so the window doesn't hit the connector.

 
Tackling the rear fender rot common to all old Imprezas.

Remove the rear bumper and tail lights.

Start grinding away the rust. OMFG! Its always worse underneath. Metal is gone!

Rust ground off, weld new metal on and prime with the rattle can.

I am seriously jealous of your welder and repair job on that quarter. My 02 has the rust cancer in the back right and I feel like I'm up crap creak without a paddle.

Also, good job with the beer. A beer is a necessary part of working with cars.

 
The WRX axle back is yours if you want it, Imprezah said you could have it, pm me if you'd like.

Look closely at this pic... This car has two "Tail ends"... How did U get the dog to stand still while U welded it to the front of the car?
