snow driving fun tips

Tip.. Don't hold it wide open off the rev limiter for 2 hours... I was at lowes on summer tires bouncing off the limiter for so long in 2nd and I've devoloped a decent oil leak/oil burning. Started off the night with it filled up on the dipstick and checked it the next morning and it was halfway down and left some on my garage floor.... Hmm just turned 201,000 so what can I expect I guess.

dressed my best and was nice to the cop in court and he filed it... Somehow. Excessive braking noise was ridiculous anyway

Yeah dude my speedo was reading almost 50 but she wasn't moving hahaha I have snows now and it rips.

Some if that was third gear if that tells you how slick it was....

Hahha I bet. There was some colorful language within the car also. Turn one way, it kept sliding the other. Ebrake wasn't happening. Couldn't really whip it Bc it wouldn't grip enough to even start the swing. Very very aggravating, especially for someone still learning....

 
if you can slide with really slippery tires your a really good driver. so get go on those and when you have snows it will be even easier

Is that sarcasm..? I'm confused haha. Do I take that like I did a good job for bald, wide summers? Or I sucked for summers?

 
i think it means if you can do it with bald tires with no traction once you get better tires it will be easier.....

Ohh yea so far I agree. I just drove around some with my snows on yesterday and it kicked butt. So much control I never had before. Can't wait to go out again. Definitely will be joining every single storm if you guys r cool with me being there?

 
So a woman in front of me had a learning experience today, fwd saturn slid into the ditch climbing a hill on all seasons with no momentum, my impreza on snows twitched her out of the ditch and up the hill without spinning. Hopefully she'll be buying tires soon, tipping the guy pulling you out gets expensive
