I'll try to remember to bring the camera tomorrow ...

Engine is fairly clean and new valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket are in, downpipe is out, and thanks to Shorty I have a nice turbo midpipe to go with it.

Next step for tomorrow is pulling mine, and inserting turbo

Hell yeah man! I noticed the wagon wasnt in your driveway anymore. it seems like progress is going fast. My car is pretty clost to done as well. All I need is a longer line for the clutch slave, relay for clutch setup, exhaust bolts, plugs, filters and regristration and insurance. Maby some bodywork. We will need to compare our ej22t's afterwards. If you need anymore parts i have all kinds off oddball crap layin around.

Ill post pictures as the day goes on so everyone can see. I even got pictures of Joel up on the engine >

. I'm a bit of a night owl. Mobstah was there all day helping out though. I hope to get away enough to help Monday night. It looks like its going real well.

Haha thanks guys, it's going good, I guess .. Lobstah and I need to finsih figuring out the wiring, but as of now the legacy harness is in my car. We need to swap for some of the adaptors from my original harness for what Lobstah thinks are the accessories. Hopefully tonight we should be done with most of the wiring. Next problem is going to be getting the crossmember fixed. Joel says swapping crossmembers is a rough job because of the hydraulic lines, so suggested cutting out the notched piece on the legacy and welding the notched piece into mine ... sounds like an easy fix except .. I don't have a welder

Anyone? ;D The turbo engine is ready to go back in ... replaced the valve cover gaskets, resealed the oil pan, and cleaned the engine up a bit but I still want to get it steam cleaned after it's in. After the wiring is done, and the crossmember is notched, we'll just need to hook up the engine and figure out the exhaust. We've got the downpipe of the legacy, and Mr. Joelio was kind enough to pass on a turbo midpipe in case I needed it. Back from the midpipe, I'm not quite sure what we're going to do yet, but I'll probably just borrow the end from my old exhaust for now. And I just want to thank some people now before I forget to ... Thanks Jerry for putting a raisin-ton of your time into helping me with this, I would have been clueless. Thanks Ashley for running around a LOT, not just for me, but for everyone that's helping me as well :-*, Thanks to Lobstah for helping me with the wiring, if it wasn't for him helping me rip the dashboards apart, I'd still be laying there trying to figure out how to get the harness out, and thanks to my dad for letting me use the garage ... I know it's hard not parking your new Lincoln MKZ in there

Thanks Brandon for the tools, lights, and time you spent helping .. and JOEL, Thanks for the knowledge, the time, the smallness

, and for letting me feel some turbo!

haha Double post.

I have a have a welder.. where abouts are you?if it is a quick job I can help you out Tuesday night if you have the pieces cut out and cleaned up when I get there. (providing you aren't north of Freeport)

Gabe's right, we're working on it at SpinmasterT's dad's garage which is in Auburn.

PS: That wiring harness is a wicked PITA. Anyone got a working multimeter we can borrow?
