Spotted!

^Sounds a little like what just happened to me. My next door neighbor honked at me, I assume for driving "too fast," though it may have been just a "hello" honk. I was doing 30ish in my neighborhood, speed limit 20 or 25 (I don't think 15, because the streets that branch off of the main neighborhood street are 15 and are posted, whereas this one is unposted). Anyway, as long as my car is under control, I don't have an issue with doing 5 over, even with wet roads.

Dumb ****s.

 
Hahaha. Yah he was eye balling me HARD. Good thing I only open the external gate a crack. I don't think he liked it though.

Don't feel too bad Nate. In case anyone saw a late model Impreza Hatchback pulled over in Kingfield last Friday night on 27, I will save you the trouble of guessing. I got pulled over and recieved a warning for Excessive Acceleration.

It didn't help my case that he was sitting at the store on the corner in the center of town, I pulled out of the intersection coming from maple street direction, and went from about 5 mph to somewhere around 35mph before I got to where he parked. I never even got out of first gear at that speed accelerating, but I was still doing 35 when he caught up to me. He said he was standing outside his SUV parked at the store when I blew past him and some people at the store gave him a funny look. I think maybe they must have laughed or something so he had to prove that this would not be tollerated, even though I don't think I did anything illegal which is why I got the warning.

 
Haha. My story goes a bit like this:

Sitting at a light and KB1OJU pulls up next to me, we exchange pleasantries. Up ahead (1,000+ feet) there is a cop with someone pulled over in a parking lot right near the road. The light turns green, and I give the gas half throttle roll on. First gear on wet roads= wheel spin, and loud barking dump tube. I never go over 20-25mph. But as we near the cop, hes standing by the edge of the road flashing his mag light at my car. I guess even at 1,000+ feet away he can still hear the external gate open for a split second. Me and KB1OJU pass by slowly then laugh a lot. I'm not too sure if he was trying to get me to pull over not but I wasn't stopping unless I saw blue lights in my rear view. Luckily I got all green light, and I immediately left Auburn for the night and don't go back. Haha.

 
Nice one Nate. Oh, you can here your car from a block away easy. When you blast outa Evergreen, everyone turns around.

hahahahahahaha. pretty funny. tbh nate, i was expecting myself to be the one getting eyed...i kind of have the extremely noticable number plates haha. whatev though, it would have been a riot

glad you didnt get Eff'd though! smart move by going home man, i saw the basterd key up his shoulder microphone for his radio, ya just never know nowadays.

At least nate has FD license plates though, usually police go real easy on fellow emergency workers and first responders. Had a buddy on the Canaan FD, got pulled over for doing 88 in a 55 and the officer walked up to the window and asked,"Are you still active with the Dept.?" he says yes. Then the officer said, "Try to keep it at the speed limit, have a nice day sir". He didn't even get a written warning.

 
Friday spotted a white rex hatch with exhaust, dark red lowered lgt and black fxt with a couple of silvered haired ladies on 109 in Sanford.

 
spotted a silver STI with a nice rumble in Farmington today, also a WRB 2nd gen. legacy with black rims, looked pretty cool

Yeah this dude I know owns it.

I hate that parking lot... the entrance is 2 lanes... Everytime I take the left lane (because the turn in is on the left to thai 9) someone in the right thinks it is one lane and almost hits me... Today I had to lock up my brakes as the lady in the right honked at me and almost hit my car thinking I was in the wrong... This happens atleast 3 times a week ( I go there all the time).
