Spring Group Drive

I'm in the Damariscotta area, but I'm still driving up to Augusta. The point is to get out and drive your car, so I figure I'll meet up with everyone and drive up to the island as a group. I'll probably take RT1 home though.

I'm gonna be meeting up with Bratman in Jefferson, and heading up to Augusta from there.

If you wanted, we could meet up in Waldoboro, drive up 32 to Jason's place, then go up to Augusta from there.

I just feel driving the whole way up to the island alone for a loop would be silly. So I'll make the trek and cruise with the group.

Took a piss test from my oil, and no gold flecks. So the weird knocking noise it made this morning was probably just my engine saying good morning.

So I'm good to go

Yeah he might have to work, but if he doesn't, he wants to finally go on a group drive with his own car.

And I thought all EJ22's knocked on start up LOL

 
Spoke too soon... Maybe my motor is pooched.

I couldn't tell earlier too well because the oil was really aerated..... That's not good, right?

So I let my little sample sit for a while, now it's all smooth and almost looks a little shiny... doh.

I'll do an oil change tomorrow and see for sure. I might end up just getting a ride to Augusta with Jason and hopping in someone's car.

 
I have had bubbles in my oil plenty of times. It would be noticeable gold swirls in the oil. If it has sat you will definitely not see the swirls, it will all settle to the bottom. I'm sure it's fine. It would be knocking pretty good all the time of it had the swirls.

Good point, yeah I could meet up with you guys, Im pickin up my gf from her house which she lives in Washington by Jerrerson. I can meet you guys around there or off 17?

 
Hmm, washington sort of isn't really on the way. Bratman and I are meeting up right at the top of the lake pretty much.

So if my engine blows on the group drive you'll be seeing a thread

don't think im going to make it...wife is taking off for a few days... the kids hate going on car rides with no purpose...and about an hour in they start to get on my nerves and each others....

I think Jason and I were planning on leaving his place at 8.30. So we could meet at Waldoboro Hanafords at 8.10. That should leave plenty of time to find each other and drive down 32. I can get down 32 right quick, it's a fun road. So it shouldn't be too long.

Just a warning... It'll likely be a quick drive up to Augusta, put the lead right foot on.

350Z, dunno what to tell you man, Washington isn't on the way.

who is all? Jason is on the way between waldoboro and augusta. No reason he'd drive backwards to meet up.

Waldo isn't even REALLY on my way, it's sorta on my way if I take a longer way around. Just thought it would be cool to pick you up on the way.

I was originally planning to meet up with jason at his house. And drive up to Augusta with him. So I'm still doing that. Now, I'm going to meet up with craig and dean upstream, and all three of us are going to jason's place, to launch off to augusta. What I'm saying is I can't make all of them take a detour. But craig dean and I are leaving waldo irving at 10 past 8.

 
If 350z wanted to meet us on 17 somewhere, that would be fine. We are leaving my place at around 8:30, so sometime around 8:40 at Peaslees would work. But it's up to you
