Because I planned on painting the whole car, black, from Day One, & this was an amusing temporary paint scheme while still Red.
I find Imprezas to be like model cars, all these interchangeable pieces and parts and colors are fun.
All it takes is a few bucks, Meyagi's KICKASS work, and Presto! Change-O! a "new" WRX every week!
There's still both 6000K HID sets to go on, along w/a full 3" exhaust (HKS U/P, DP, Vibrant 3" single-tip muffler, 3" straight piping) as well as the STI tranny mount, the giant (!) TMIC, Perrin BPV, & a spankin' new timing belt, as the motor's at 104K now.
Then, add a set of snows, and she's ready for Winter fun.
In the Spring, in goes the '06 LGT motor with AVCS & WRX heads, along with the new TMIC, the STI's FP Green, 850cc injectors, Walboro,
& all the goodies.
By Summer's end, 2011, the WRX will put down an easy +300WHP-and I'm already looking for a 6spd '05 STI tranny to add DCCD Pro to for it, also...
(The STI is getting a new, huge FMIC and a Full-Race brand GT30R or GT35R setup... Whatever gets me a REAL 450AWHP.)
