No actually, they made sure to price the stock late model non-premium sedans for 24,995. They can still be had for that price, but if your limit would be $25,000 then tax title and documentation will break you. I paid all my taxes and documentation fees up front. Think it came out to almost $1700, then I paid 750ish for registration (damn excise tax). Maintaining the thing when you drive 20,000+ miles per year gets expensive too. I anticipate going through 1 set of summer tires a year and 1 set of winter tires every 2 years. Then there is gas and oil changes and they try to stick you on the 7,500 mile and 15,000 mile maintenance where they do a lot of nothing. And if you have my poor luck, then you need to pay insurance deductables too.... it leaves my pockets a lot lighter than when I was driving 97, up until it started to need repairs every 5,000 miles. Then the WRX ownership was a little cheaper in comparison, as hard to believe as it may be.
