Subaru 2.2L motor - $200 (South Portland)

I have a 96 EJ22E motor, single port for sale.

I saw it run for about 30 seconds and then I tore it out to put an SVX motor in the car it came from.

The car it came from had 297k miles.

It leaks like a sieve.

It's not worth $200 so lowball me and then come pick it up.

I don't want it anymore.

No it does not come with ecu/harness/turbo/LS1 swaps/t56 or anything else.

Yes it does come with shattered timing covers.

No tire kickers. No pictures because imagine the nastiest looking ej22e and that's what it looks like.

Would be ideal for a cheap rebuild. Rering it, do gaskets and a timing belt, and enjoy another 300k+ miles of service.

 
6500 for a swapped rs is an awesome price!!! should be more around 9-10 grand which makes me think theres more wrong with it not listed,no mention of a trans upgrade.

 
I would NEVER buy a swapped car. That sounds like a total nightmare. When something goes wrong with it (because it will), you'll spend the rest of your life tracking wires twisted together and scotch taped.
