I actually looked that over and drove it. Rockers are a bit rusted by the rear wheels. Rear quarters were repaired a bit sloppy. Needs exhaust work.

The damage to the fender looks like it will take a decent amount of work to fix.

You can get a brand new fender on eBay for 70 bucks shipped. That fender is beyond repairable. Rear quarters look like poo. For the price there's got to be more wrong with it.

Yea, 300,000 miles... The transmission is probably pretty worn. It's about due for bearing problems and worn out synchros. With that many miles, the engine is getting tired as well...
 
By repair I mean replacing the fender and reshaping the stuff behind it, the headlight should be broken but somehow isn't. It has some piston slap or some other noise on startup but goes away once its warm, shifted fine did nice tight circles and had better power then my 1.8 that has a bit over half the miles that one does. I'm not totally sure its the original engine.

Could make a cheap rallyx car. I offered them $400 and they said they would take it, but then add in $300 worth of dealer fees....
