The unofficial GUN talk thread

x3

Matt I'll be going and have a Ruger p95. Similar but different. The SR has better ergonomics, the functions are similar.

Any idea what cost is? I'll try and look it up. I am trying to make time to go, it would be fun. And most of my guns are collecting dust

Anyone have any interest in buying a 22 mag revolver? I have a taurus 941 I'm thinking about getting rid of to help pay for an sr9 if I decide on that. 4" barrel, blued with rubber grips. Bought it new last year

So its all booked. Our resvevation is: 1:00 on Sunday Feb 6th. Sorry for the late time. They have a class in the morning and its going to hog up the whole range till noon, then they have to clean up.

As for price, its all based on the number of people we end up showing up with. For large groups they will only give us a group rate. We have half the range to ourselves. (5 lanes) and is $175 an hour. At this point we have over 10 people coming, so it will be $17/hr or less. And I imagine we will be there for 2 hours..

We will be int he "old" range building (reserved for over flow and large parties) and the one limitations is you have to keep firearm rounds below 2000FPS. So NO LARGE RIFLES.

Alright Nate, I'm 95% sure I'm going. Whats the biggest caliber we can bring?

Never mind, re-read what you wrote.

I'll have mine too. The gunsmith just has to knock the rear sight the rest of the way on when I get there before I can shoost it.

They allow shootys in the old range, so perhaps I'll bring the Mossberg with me.

I hate to say it, but I don't think I'm going. I don't have much that's smaller than 7.62x39. I don't think I want to drive all the way there just to shoot my Skorpion.

Oh well, you guys have fun, and play safe

Well I don't have anything for target shooting in a range really. I enjoy skeet shooting. I have 2 shotguns, 20 gauge break barrel(no idea of the make, Brazilian made?) and a Baretta A390ST 12 gauge.

I do know that he said that we werent going to be able to shoot .308 rifle rounds. But they rent machine guns there, so I imagine you can shoot most of anything we have.

I recommend that if anyone has any concerns, to give a call down and ask about your particular guns.
