the worst thing. that could have ever happened to me. happened

surprisingly enough i have been having trouble finding parts

pretty much the only person that has anything is gabe, big surprise haha.

i went factory for the radiator supports, i got an employee discount since i work for Clay in mass.

so that wasnt too bad, still no headlight hood or fender

and yes I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted and still want to do a 2004-2005 front end swap but CANNOT find the parts

So no engine bay damage or suspension damage at all?

as far as engine bay its just going to be radiator support and headlight support. i can straighten out that fender wall. got pretty lucky there

the bumper beam and frame look fine, not even a scratch.ill do some measuring just to make sure though

do you have a port-a-power to help straighten out mangled stuff up front. if not, I think u can rent one at autozone or napa or whatever.

after a heavy shunt like tht, check the wheelbase. if it's not same side to side, you need to find out why not. on the good side, the front control arms are designed to bend before the hard mount points do

it would suck to do all the front bodywork only to find that the shell is tweaked.
good point man, im going to go do a little measuring just to see. it was a pretty solid hit straight into the headlight. pushed my battery back into the windshield washer resovior. didnt crack the resovior though, so im pretty sure the strut tower didnt take too hard of a hit. the fenderwall looks fine, atleast the more structural part.

So ive been wanting to post a pic of how everything turned out. Guess i was waiting till i completely "finished" the repairs

Not sure if that's every going to happen haha so here a picture of how she sits now:

I agree with matt00rs2.5, I ended up doing a lot of researching for Conversion kits for the Bugeye to a Peanut eye or Hawkeye. I found a conversion kit that will cost 290.00 then you'd need to pick up the front end panels of whatever conversion you decide on and go from there. Lmk if you need help with information on the conversion!

All in all, sorry about your ride...even though MS members keep telling you it's just a car (although it is), after working on it..feels like you lost an arm. But yes, glad to hear your alive and well brother.
