I took what you said as an insult... my uncle was gay... he was unable to get married... when he died, it was a huge fight between his bf that he lived with for 10years and our family... everyone wanted something different some wanted to give stuff to the bf some wanted to keep it. It wasnt fair to his beliefs and it left a mark on his death.

He didnt act like you say gay people do... he didnt look like you say they look... He was Normal and a bio chemist. Great guy... ok he drove a vw cabrio.

Not once did he tell me he was gay... not once did he try to push it. I only found out when he died and all this crap went on.

Why is it that guys dress up as chicks on oct 31 and no one has a problem with it... its only when they are gay everyday...

I say the wrong thing a lot... I call things gay and say people act gay and etc... but in the end I respect people that deserve it. I give most people a chance no matter what... (sortof)

I just checked in on the No on 1 Group on Facebook, and this LOSER named Rick DeLano has been bashing for like 2 days! I Googled him, and saw he is on other sites being less than friendly. UGHHHHHH. I wish he'd give up and stop rubbing it in the No campaigns face. I finally decided to block him so that I couldn't read his crap anymore. And he says he's not a hateful person= well you coulda' fooled me!

In the words of Clayton Bigsby [Dave Chapelle skit]: "If you have hate in your heart, let it out!" That is what Rick is living by.

This has been an enlightening, informative, educational, comedic, heartbreaking thread. I am glad that I was able to participate, and wasn't shot down because I may not be educated on voting, or am a female (Only one guy treats me that bad on here). I have never participated in a discussion like this because I've always told myself, "Since I didn't vote, I don't have a say in what goes". That is why I don't complain about any Presidents. Maybe I'll have my say in the next Presidential Election.

You carry a card with you, and present it when you vote. LMAO I don't know, I just know so many people have them in Maryland. I shoulda' figured this stupid state wouldn't have something like that! LOL! I was gonna ask my town clerk lady, but she was too busy playing with her daughter and passing out gross popcorn balls.

When I just voted the other day, they just have a list with all the registered voters. They check you off on the list and hand you a ballot.

In MD they had booths with black velvet curtains that you voted in. Or do they do that up here too, or just for the Presidential Election?

Nope, I've only ever seen the re/white/blue curtains with the tiny little spaces that you barely fit in. No black velvet here haha
