I never wore my seatbelt. Somehow, i was wearing it the night i got in my accident and felt so lucky that i haven't not worn it since (sorry for the double negative). for some reason i just didn't like wearing it when i was younger and it became uncomfortable to wear it since then. i force myself to now. i used to go without driving my jeep wrangler with no top and no doors on the highway. dumb.

 
When I was younger I never wore it, Cause you know when your younger your invincible right?

As I got older I started to wear it and now It's just routine, Sometimes I don't even relize that I put it on.

 
I was just curious, as I was reading in the cop magnet thread that many of you have gotten tickets for not wearing seat belts. I've never understood why people don't wear them every time they get in a vehicle ... maybe you can clear that up for me?

I feel weird not wearing my seatbelt. Even if I'm just getting in my car to move it in my driveway I put it on without thinking.

i have always worn mine... ever since i went to a wreck where someone was ejected and their car landed on them i always give people lots of $h1T when they dont wear theirs

 
It's weird driving in antique cars that only have lap belts. My GF's '66 plymouth has them, it takes a while to get used to.

Even weirder in older cars without them!

 
Never used to wear it, hate wearing now, think the law should be repealed. Never wrote a ticket for someone not using it and probably never will.

Anyway, I always were mine. I put it on without noticing sometimes. I get in and the right hand goes to the left shoulder automatically. I've been t-boned twice, on Center Street, and I was glad to be wearing it both times. Without it, I would have been in a world of hurt in the passenger's seat.

noobs....modifying the poll skews the results. There are more votes than there are members. Voting twice shouldn't cause it to go over 100%.
