Why would the mods need to lock this? Care to elaborate? I didn't realize you could see who voted what when I was looking for a poll ... hell I didn't even know how to make the poll. If you don't want to vote, then don't. Take the poll down, if that's your problem. I was just curious as to what the rationale behind not wearing a seatbelt was as I've heard many people (not on the forum) who proudly wear no seatbelt and I've just never understood.

 
You have the option when making the thread to:

1. Give members the ability to vote more then once. For this type of poll, it wasnt needed.

2. Keep the votes private or public.

It seems most everyone wears it. In this day and age, I cant understand why anyone wouldn't.

 
Ah, okay. I didn't make the poll, so I wouldn't know. I still don't actually know how to make one ...

the thread tools drop down on the dark blue bar on the top right of the thread page.

 
When you are making a new thread under "additional options" check "Yes, post a poll with this thread"

Then after you hit submit, the next screen will ask for the poll options. If you want to allow people to vote more than once, if you want their names to be show, and something else ...

It is pretty self explanatory.

 
this thread turned into "how to post a poll" more than it was "wtf is up with not wearing seatbelts?" and then there was all the effing around with vote tallies...kind of like a union election!

Anyway, I'm glad to see that MOST of you wear your seatbelts like you're supposed to. It's nice knowing that most of you would survive an accident.

I never used to wear my seatbelt when I was young and didn't know any better. I guess I knew it was kind of stupid, but I didn't really care. Then one day several years ago, I decided I would always wear it from now on. Great story.
