It sounds like you have it solved, but check (remove-clean-reconnect) the ground wire between the plug on the trailer and the trailer frame. Also, I am assuming there are ground wires connecting the trailer frame to the light assemblies. Check those as well.
It really does sound like a ground...
Will one of those Impreza spoilers mount on my hatch? And be level, and look like it is supposed to? Do you still have the taillights from the TOXIC? Are you still looking for a stock set to trade?
Saw it today. Looks great. I think I saw you last night on rte 4, also. I waved, but didn't know who it was at the time. Figured that out this morning on my way to work.
Maybe Ray's (the notherner) old Outback? Late 90s, early 2000s. White OBS, Hellas, Bronze painted RS 6 spokes, Thule rack, DIRTYIMPREZA decal across the hood. Spotted on South Shore Drive in Sandy River Plt, the past two mornings.
I am FAR from an expert, but I suggest looking at...... Smith&Wesson M&Pc, Springfield XDc, if you can find one maybe the new Smith M&P Shield. I don't know the models, but there are a couple of smallish Glocks also.

I had something like that over the winter in our FXT. I ended up changing the fuel filter and running some StarTron additive for a couple of tanks full. It seemed to clear up.
You can probably get StarTron at a marine or snowmobile/ATV shop. It's the new "drygas".
Rez, I researched this at one point. I am pretty sure (although not 100% positive) the fronts should bolt right in. As Bratman showed you can drill a hole, get 1/4" spacers, and use the forester rear tops. Or put WRX tops on the Forester struts/springs.

Probably everyone knows this except me. I could be WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY behind the loop. And out of the times. I thought I would put it here though if it helps.
If I'm buying a used set of struts/spring/tops, is there a way to tell if the struts are good when they are all assembled?
Also, aren't some certain year(s) Forester struts that the spring perch is higher than earlier years?
