The car isn't fast, nor do I intend to make it fast. It's for sound and looks, and $150 is a pretty good deal on a dual tip that's 2 months old.

Yes but it still requires back pressure. 3 inch provides pretty much none.

But I'm not running catless or anything, so while I may lose a tiny bit of low end, it shouldn't be enough to devastate me or the car. I do understand the point you're trying to make, the fact that NA cars like 2.25"-2.5", but there is little option for the price, fit, and finish for my car. The FMS exhaust this guy has for sale is the best bang for the buck at the moment, for the goals I am after. If I do come to find this 3" exhaust is too much for my car, I'll sell it and get something else.

What did you use to get them so shiny? I thought about scuffing mine up and painting it black

Jamey used Mother's polish and a brillo pad. He could tell you more about what he did.

I used some crappy 10y/o polish on yours. But yes I'd recommend mothers that's what I use on my tips and depending on how bad is what u need to do first I had to sand mine then use a rubbing compound then polish. Lots work
