death of a ricer...birth of an rs

Lookin' good matt. Take some more pics, from the side and stuff! I think that really shows how much the spats balance the rest of the car.

The spats look really good in conjunction with the go fast diffuser. Again, I hate you for immediately snagging those. Neil didn't even tell me he was selling them, then I read online that you pretty much bought them LOL, I'll get you back this winter BWAHAHAHA, actually a tree will so I won't need to.

My hilarious jokes aside, the rear of your car looks awesome. Nice job heating the spats to fit, better then tye wraps and sheetrock screws, which is what I live by

Stop being a bum and pick some spats up from jdmgary on rs25....

Nope. Not unless I can get a good deal! They are freaking molded plastic, literally do nothing for the car except the look.

But they look so nice.

Finally fixed the foam on the wrx seats. Got creative and just swapped seat foams! Took the seats all apart and made reliefs for the seat airbags and they were good to go again. There's a bar on the inside of each seat for the bolster that seems to wear through it. Once you swap it that worn spot moves to the outside and you have fresh foam on the inside. Sounds dumb but it worked. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350265831.459232.jpg

Also ditched both the Toyota trucks I had. After two trips to the off road park I returned home with two blown motors. I must of been to rough one them. Hahaha. I didn't feel like fixing them so I traded both of them for another motorcycle. This one is a 97 buell m2 cyclone 1203 vtwin and its an awful yellow. The bike has a ton of torque and its loud so my condo neighbors hate it... Yes!!! Bought 4 cans of plasti dip so I'm going to paint the bike black.

Also realized the rs is no truck. Got an electric heater for my down stairs when I got the paint and figured it didn't fit after I got to the car. Crap

And lastly I ordered some new suede interior bits to freshen the inside of the rs. Should be here soon from zealous interiors b

Fixed my check engine light finally because I was bored at work. Had an evap code forever!!! Found a broken wire on the canister. It broke almost flush so I de-pinned it and soldered on a new wire.

Besides rusty filler necks this normally the other reason for the evap codes on our cars.

I'm glad the seats worked out for you Matt, I'm going to try that foam trick to my RS seats if I get motivation.

I don't understand why filler tubes rust out so easily, mines starting to leak on the Impreza. At least it's a cheap and easy fix.

So my zealous interior came in today. I got the shift boot / ebrake boot / and interior door panels all in black suede with red stitching. It's all original from 2000 so it's in need of updating. It got late so I only had time for the shift boot and ebrake.
